Trade Mark Administrator
Spoor & Fisher is looking for a Trade Mark Administrator within the TM: Formalities Prosecution department. The successful candidate will be based in the Centurion office, reporting to the Senior Manager. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong written communication abilities and should be able to attend to general administrative duties with a focus on Trade Mark prosecution.
Trade Mark Administrator: Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Requirement – Matric Certificate.
- Previous administrative experience in Trade Marks is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication skills, proficiency with written communication.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
- Strong analytical thinking and a curious mindset to approach challenges with insight and innovation.
- Deadline-driven with a proactive sense of urgency to meet time-sensitive objectives.
- Resilience when under pressure by maintaining high performance in fast-paced environments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administration of External Database (ED)
- Management of ED box.
- Updating of ED portals.
- Reporting to ED clients.
- Management of ED portal security settings and passwords.
- Setup of new ED client portals.
- Prosecution
- Backup of TMP Box management.
- Assisting with status queries.
- Reporting of adhoc advertisements.
- Reporting of registrations.
- Invoicing for registrations.
- Backup in obtaining certified extracts.
- CIPC
- Management of trademarkxml inbox.
- Investigations of TM enquiries matters.
- Liaising with CIPC regarding outstanding matters.
